    • Most states have a stature of limitations on litigations. That was nine years ago. That’s crazy. Stuff like this makes me think they’re a scam.

      • Omg said the same thing to me! Using my former married name that I had not used since 2005, told the csr I was contacting states attorney for id theft (id been remarried a year) and they hung up.

    • I apparently have the exact same debt, same year and payday loan,Compass was the name, never heard of them and never had a payday loan

  • If gotodra.com is not a scam why will they not answer the phone or give you an e-mail address to contact them, they are the biggest bunch of BS ever. I wish I could set down with one of them to discuss this whatever it is they are trying to screw me out of. They would think gotodra when they tried to walk out of my office. Below is my name and address if they have the balls to call during regular hours 8-5 CDT and talk instead of leaving a voice mail.

  • I just started receiving Voice Messages from this company today. The calls were first from an older man than secondly from a young lady who is on a recording. Both of these individuals never mention your name however just demand that you pay for your debt. SCAM!!

  • I am being harassed by Debt Recovery Associates LLC (www.gotodra.com) 888-451-9670 and it is 100% a complete scam. I check my credit report very frequently and I do not have any outstanding debts. They call me several times a day, several days in a row, and text message me as well. They contact me during early mornings, late at night, and have threatened and used abusive language when asking them to stop contacting me. I block every single number they call in on and they just keep calling from different numbers. They leave lengthy voicemails and often it is the same voice with a different name (Peter Bronson, Christopher Adams, Latoya Jackson, Kara, etc). I have saved voicemails to prove this. They never send paper mail or anything else but phone harassment. I'm so over the harassment and now am taking necessary action.

    • Has anything proven effective? Many of us would like to know how to stop them.
I filed a complaint with the BBB but I do not expect any benefit. I may end up whitelisting my phone number (only allow those on my contact list to ring through) but that's pretty drastic.

    • Hi I read what you wrote above regarding DRA and I would like to ask you what sort of "necessary action" you are taking. This same outfit has been calling our landline phone as well as my wife's cel phone several times a day and leaving messages. What really attracted my attention of what you mentioned was the names Latoya Jackson, Peter Bronson and Christopher Adams. These are some of the exact same names left on our phones. So have you been able to take any action or make any progress regarding this matter? We called our attorney general's office and they asked us for an address which we weren't able to give. We would certainly be grateful to you if you could share any further progress you have possibly made in dealing with these people. Thank you.

    • Hi, I am receiving such scam calls too. What can we do or steps to make to get back at these scammers? Do you know of any government entity to log our complains or to get back at them? I contacted the police and they didn't do anything. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

    • That phone no. is one of literally 45 different scam phone #’s I’ve saved (and blocked) on my phone in the last few months. Most of the phone calls I’ve gotten from these phone #’s are from “Peter” at DRA (Mr. Bronson, presumably), leaving an obviously pre-recorded message (usually the same one, maybe with 2-3 variations), several times a week. I also remember the names Latoya Jackson and Christopher Adams being associated with a few calls/messages, FWIW. I’ve never called them back though.

    • EXACT same experience. I continue to block each time. So annoying to the point that it really is harassment!!

  • Hi , I have received the same call 2 times in the last month and a half from the same person Latoya Jackson, first time I just hung up 2nd time let voice recorder answer it .
